Frankly

Mr. Nice Guy

So I held off on actually watching the Punisher movie, but Kel brought over the game and I had to check out the Thomas Jane vehicle also. I mean the game was just so freakin' cool! Great play control, awesome animation, and a spectacular sense of Punisher-ness . . . or is it Punisher-ism? I don't know.

The movie?

Feh.

Here's the thing with the movie:

The Punisher doesn't play games. You know how in the movie Frank with the fake fire hydrant, the missing earring, the gay photos. He got the main bad guy to think that his right hand man was making the move on his wife. Got the main bad guy to kill his own right hand man in a jealous rage.

What the hell?

The Punisher is supposed to shoot them both. Maybe drop them down an elevator shaft. The Punisher doesn't do 'cute.' Doesn't do 'shadow games.' Doesn't do 'the setup.' If the Punisher wants someone dead . . . he makes them dead.

Capiche?

Crash Bananacoot

RESET stands at 80 pages.

Still well short of the 200-225 page mark that I laid out for myself, but it is still a solid commitment. Actually there are two articles that are written (what they should have dones for God of War and Halo 2) that might not make it into the book. So I suppose the official page count is 82 . . .

Gonna write the "Failed Mascots" article next. The article will start with the line "Some of these are fake . . . "

Also, still working on the Games that NEED Sequels chapter.

Also, the page number might get inflated unnaturally when I begin to insert the "Videogame Quotes" pages in and throughout the book. But, as it is, RESET is 80 pages long right now.

So there.
